Shuffle XS29F -- May 27, 2009 -- Shuttle offers a fanless mini-PC using Via's 1.0GHz Nano U1700 processor. The Shuttle XS29F is said to feature both VGA and DVI video outputs, up to 4GB of RAM, SATA 2 storage options, four USB ports, and total power consumption of less than 50 Watts.


Ibase CSB-200-833 -- May 26, 2009 -- Ibase's "slim-type" fanless embedded computer runs on an 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 with up to 1GB of memory. The CSB200-883 system is equipped with a 2.5-inch hard disk drive (HDD), two gigabit Ethernet ports, and four USB ports.


Matrox 4Sight XB -- May 20, 2009 -- Matrox Imaging offers a Windows Embedded computer targeting image acquisition in medical and industrial applications. The "4Sight XB" features three IEEE 1394b ports, includes three expansion slots accepting PCI, PCI-X, and PCI Express cards, and is available loaded with Windows XP Embedded.


Dell XS11-VX8 -- May 15, 2009 -- Via Technologies scored a high-profile design win, courtesy of Dell, which put the chipmaker's 64-bit Nano processor into a compact server not much larger than a 3.5-inch disk storage bay.


AR Infotek Pipal 2050, 2050M, and 2052 -- May 14, 2009 -- AR Infotek offers three fanless industrial computers based on 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPUs. The Pipal 2050, the 3G- and GPS-enabled Pipal 2050M, and the dual-PCI slot Pipal 2052 are equipped with gigabit Ethernet ports, PCI expansion, and various other I/O.


Advantech PIT-1702 -- May 13, 2009 -- Advantech used Windows XP Embedded to craft an "infotainment terminal" for hospital patients. The PIT-1702 includes a 17-inch touchscreen, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, a TV tuner, WiFi, RFID and smart card readers, a nurse call button, and Celeron or Core 2 Duo CPUs.


Sanyo LP-WXU700 -- May 13, 2009 -- Sanyo offers a Windows CE-based projector that streams video via 802.11n wireless networking and is compatible with Windows Vista's Network Projector functionality. The "LP-WXU700" has 1280 x 800 resolution, 500: contrast ratio, 3,800 lumens, a USB reader, and a wide variety of video inputs.


Borg Displays Protege 15 and Protege 8 -- May 12, 2009 -- Borg Displays offers two touchscreen panel PCs designed for home control, energy management, kiosks, and digital signage. The 15-inch Protege 15 and 8-inch Protege 8 respectively offer 1GHz Via Eden or 500MHz AMD Geode LX800 processors, and both include gigabit Ethernet connectivity.


Super Micro X7SLA -- May 8, 2009 -- Super Micro is promoting the use of Intel's Atom processor in servers. The "X7SLA" motherboard is designed to be mounted in a 1U rack (shown) or minitower chassis, offers single or dual gigabit Ethernet ports, and includes four SATA ports with RAID support.


Sealevel Systems Relio R9 -- May 6, 2009 -- Sealevel Systems's compact embedded computer runs Windows CE 6.0 on an ARM9 processor. The "Relio R9" includes an Atmel AT91SAM9263 CPU, up to 256MB of RAM and 256MB of flash, and extensive I/O including Ethernet, serial, USB, CAN, digital, and analog interfaces.


Intergraph TD-R 7X11R-S -- May 5, 2009 -- Intergraph's workstation is designed to withstand punishing environmental conditions for military, industrial, and marine applications. The sealed, solid-state TD-R 7X11R-S rack-mount workstation runs Windows XP Embedded, supports an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and up to 4GB of memory, and offers dual gigabit Ethernet ports.


AIS Smart Module Display -- May 1, 2009 -- American Industrial Systems (AIS) offers a 42-inch display incorporating a modular computer running Windows XP Embedded. The "Smart Module Display" includes a Intel Atom N270 processor, gigabit Ethernet, an SATA port, three serial ports, two USB 2.0 ports, and a DVI-D port.


Ibase FWA7108 -- May 1, 2009 -- Ibase Technology offers a 1U rack-mountable network appliance incorporating the Pentium M-based Intel EP80579 SoC. Equipped with eight gigabit Ethernet ports, plus USB and storage I/O, the FWA7108 leverages the EP80579's QuickAssist technology and HIFN security processor to accelerate cryptographic and packet processing.


IEI Sailor-12A and Sailor-12ASR -- Apr. 29, 2009 -- IEI Technology's rugged, IP67 waterproof panel PC is aimed at marine, avionics, military, mining, engineering, and industrial applications. The Sailor-12A and sunlight readable Sailor-12ASR run on 1.6MHz Intel Atom processors, and offer 12.1-inch, 1024 x 768 touchscreens and 802.11b/g/n WiFi.


SolidLogic GS-L10 -- Apr. 24, 2009 -- Logic Supply says this computer is capable of using Intel's high-performance "Montevina" processors fanlessly, thanks to a case bristling with heat sinks. The SolidLogic GS-L10 has VGA, DVI, and HDMI outputs, includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, and supports hard disk or CompactFlash storage.


Avalue EPS-910 -- Apr. 22, 2009 -- Avalue's fanless computer is designed for continually running systems, such as point-of-sale (POS) kiosks, automation controllers, or car PCs. The EPS-910 offers an Intel Celeron M clocked at 600MHz, 1GB SDRAM, dual gigabit Ethernet ports, plus ample USB and serial connectivity.


Shuttle X2700B -- Apr. 17, 2009 -- Shuttle Incorporated's "nettop" mini-PC is built upon its mini-ITX based "X27" design and runs Windows Vista. The X2700B moves up to a dual-core Intel Atom 330 processor, clocked at 1.6GHz, with 1GB DDR2, and offers gigabit Ethernet and USB connectivity.


Moxa DA-681 -- Apr. 15, 2009 -- Moxa's 19-inch rackmount computer is intended for power substations and other industrial automation applications. The DA-681 runs Windows from flash storage, and includes a 1GHz Celeron processor, four RS232 ports, eight RS485 ports, six Ethernet ports, and dual power inputs.


Acer AspireRevo -- Apr. 8, 2009 -- Acer's compact PC was apparently the world's first to use Nvidia's Ion platform. The "AspireRevo" combines Intel's Atom CPU with an Nvidia GeForce 9400 GPU (graphics processing unit), providing 1080p HD video playback and DirectX 10 compatibility.


Win Enterprises PL-80090 -- Apr. 7, 2009 -- Win Enterprises offers a 1U rackmount networking appliance with a redundant power supply and an optional cryptographic coprocessor. The Windows XP-compatible PL-80090 can accommodate 11 gigabit Ethernet ports and two 3.5-inch SATA drives, and supports Intel Core 2 processors with a 1333MHz FSB.


Comfile CUPC-P80 -- Apr. 6, 2009 -- Comfile's panel PC comes with a preinstalled Windows XP Embedded image. The CUPC-P80 includes a 10.2-inch display with 800 x 480 resolution, a 500MHz AMD Geode LX800 processor, 4GB of flash storage, an SD slot, and four serial ports.


Samsung 460UTn -- Apr. 6, 2009 -- Samsung offers a 46-inch display with a built-in computer running Windows XP Embedded. Targeting creation of "video walls," the 460UTn (pictured at left in a stack of four) features a bezel 2.4mm at the right and bottom, and 4.3mm at the left and top


VarTech SuperCube -- Apr. 3, 2009 -- VarTech Systems's fanless, rugged computer that includes Intel's Atom N270, a 160GB, 7200rpm HDD (hard disk drive), and runs Windows XP Embedded. The "SuperCube" has an aluminum enclosure, six USB ports, five serial ports, and dual gigabit Ethernet ports.


MSI Wind Top AE1900 -- Apr. 2, 2009 -- MSI offers an all-in-one PC with an Intel Atom 330 processor and a 18.5-inch touchscreen display. The "Wind Top AE1900" includes a read/write DVD drive, a 160GB hard disk drive, a webcam, 802.11b/gg/n wireless, and uses under 45 Watts overall.


Ibase SI-24S -- Mar. 23, 2009 -- Ibase Technology's embedded x86-based computer is aimed at digital signage applications. The SI-24S includes an AMD Sempron 210U clocked to 1.5GHz, as well as an ATI E2400 GPU (graphics processing unit), and supports dual independent 1080p displays with VGA, DVI, or HDMI interfaces.


Stealth Computer LPC-625F -- Mar. 23, 2009 -- Stealth Computer's fanless, Windows-compatible embedded computer targets mission-critical industrial applications. The Model LPC-625F supports Intel's "Penryn" Core 2 Duo P8400 processor clocked to 2.26GHz, and offers gigabit Ethernet, optional WiFi, an 80GB hard disk drive (HDD), and eight USB 2.0 ports.


Axiomtek eBOX639-840-FL -- Mar. 18, 2009 -- Axiomtek's expandable fanless embedded computer targets industrial automation, digital signage, gaming, and vehicle applications. The eBOX639-840-FL offers Core 2 Duo or Celeron M processors, PCI and x16 PCIe slots, two gigabit Ethernet ports, four serial ports, and six USB ports.


CompuLab Fit-PC2 -- Mar. 17, 2009 -- CompuLab's Windows XP PC is smaller than three CD cases, draws six Watts, and costs $400. The Fit-PC2 packs a 1.1GHz or 1.6GHz Atom processor, 160GB hard drive (or SSD), and DVI/HDMI video into a passively cooled case.


Habey BIS-6550HD -- Mar. 12, 2009 -- Habey's BIS-6550HD uses Intel's Atom N270 CPU, yet is claimed to be capable of full 1080p video playback. Targeting set-top, digital signage, and media center applications, the computer offers fanless operation, HDMI output, gigabit Ethernet, and CompactFlash storage.


NorhTec MicroClient TC -- Mar. 11, 2009 -- The NorhTec MicroClient TC uses the "Prizm" ARM9 SoC from Via division WonderMedia. Ready to run Windows CE, the device offers 256MB of RAM and 4GB of flash storage, has 10/100 Ethernet and a VGA output, and costs just $100.


GAOTek GAO4446 -- Mar. 11, 2009 -- GAOTek's general-purpose, dual-channel oscilloscope uses Windows CE as its operating system. The "GAO4446" includes 1MB of upgradeable memory per channel, a variety of advanced trigger functions and pulse parameter measurements, 500MHz bandwidth, and a parallel printer port.


Roper Mobile Technology Duros 1214 -- Feb. 26, 2009 -- Roper Mobile Technology (RMT)'s panel PC is intended for forklifts, pallet trucks, and other warehouse machinery. The Duros 1214 features an 800 x 600 touchscreen display, 1.0GHz Celeron processor, up to 64GB of CompactFlash storage, built-in UPS, and IP65 and MIL-STD-810F standards compliance.


QSI Treq-M4 -- Feb. 26, 2009 -- QSI uses Windows CE as the basis of this compact, in-cab computer targeting fleet management, dispatching, and mapping applications. The Treq-M4 includes a 4.3-inch touchscreen display, four function keys, two serial ports, two USB ports, Ethernet, and an optional magnetic card reader.


Via AMOS-3000 -- Feb. 25, 2009 -- Via Technologies built this fanless embedded "box" computer around a pico-ITX motherboard. The "AMOS-3000" targets digital signage, gaming, and automotive applications, combining a choice of Via CPUs with DOM (disk on module) storage.


Advantech UNO-3272 and UNO-3282 -- Feb. 20, 2009 -- Advantech's automation computers are fanless devices offering two PCI expansion slots. The UNO-3272 and UNO-3282 support dual- or single-core Intel CPUs, accept two CompactFlash cards and two hard disk drives, and run Windows XP Embedded.


Adlink MilSystem 800 -- Feb. 11, 2009 -- Adlink's rugged military computer runs Windows XP Embedded on a 1.4GHz Pentium CPU. The "MilSystem 800" operates fanlessly up to 167 deg. C, is dust- and splash-proof, includes solid-state or hard disk storage, and provides all interfaces on two MIL-STD-D38999 connectors.


Glacier Everest e4000 -- Feb. 11, 2009 -- Glacier's e4000 is a lower-cost, reduced-feature version of its ruggedized panel PC for Windows XP. It targets warehouses and supply-chain shop floor environments, and comes with a 600MHz Celeron or 1.4GHz Pentium M processor.


Lanner LEC-2204 -- Feb. 06, 2009 -- Lanner's small computer is "designed for flexible deployment in industrial control scenarios." The LEC-2204 runs Windows XP Embedded or CE, with a 1.0GHz Intel Celeron CPU, 512MB of DDR2 RAM, CompactFlash Type II storage, and four serial ports.


ICOP PDX-057T -- Feb. 06, 2009 -- Icop's little panel PC is built around the company's own 32-bit, x86-compatible SoC (system on chip). The PDX-057T has a 5.7-inch touchscreen display, 256MB or 512MB of RAM, CompactFlash Type I/II and microSD storage, and a Mini PCI slot.


Advantech UNO-1170 -- Feb. 4, 2009 -- Advantech's embedded automation computer runs Windows XP Embedded or Windows CE. The UNO-1170 offers fanless operation, Intel Celeron M or Pentium M CPUs, 512KB of battery-backed SRAM, and an optional PC/104+ expansion slot.


Advantech Vita-350P -- Jan. 29, 2009 -- Advantech's small fleet-management computer is intended to monitor a vehicle's location and performance data. The Vita-350P runs Windows CE on an ARM processor, includes a 50-channel GPS receiver, has a tri-band GSM/GPRS modem, and supports an optional touchscreen display.


Axiomtek GOT-5100TL -- Jan. 27, 2009 -- Axiomtek's panel PC supports Windows XP Embedded or CE, targeting "space-limited" factory and building automation applications. The GOT-5100TL has a 10.4-inch touchscreen display, an AMD Geode LX800 CPU, up to 1GB of RAM, and CompactFlash or hard disk drive (HDD) storage.


Colmek Stinger -- Jan. 23, 2009 -- Colmek's tactical mission computer featuring an Intel Atom CPU and 128GB of SSD (solid state disk) storage. The "Stinger" runs Windows XP Embedded or CE, sports a wealth of interfaces, and meets military standards for resisting shock, vibration, and EMI (eletromagnetic interference).


Leibinger Jet 3 -- Jan. 21, 2009 -- German manufacturer Leibinger used Windows CE to build this ink-jet printer, with a 10.4-inch touchscreen display and wand-mounted print-head. The "Jet 3" uses fast-drying inks to print barcodes and other information on food, pharmaceutical, and medical packaging,.


Portwell WEBS-1320, WEBS-2120, and WEBS-3330 -- Jan. 16, 2009 -- Portwell's trio of compact PCs use Intel Atom processors. The WEBS-1320, WEBS-2120, and WEBS-3330 employ ECX, nano-ITX, and mini-ITX boards, respectively, offer fanless operation, support 2GB of RAM, and provide room for Compact Flash or HDD (hard disk drive) storage.


LXE VX8 and VX9 -- Jan. 13, 2009 -- LXE's two vehicle-mount computers sport touchscreen displays and run Windows XP Embedded. The VX8 and VX9 offer tough magnesium housings, feature integrated UPSes, accept 10 to 150 VDC power input, and use hard disk or CompactFlash storage.


Avalue EPC-945 -- Dec. 23, 2008 -- Avalue released a new "box PC" targeting embedded thin client, automation, and automotive use. The EPC-945 offers Intel Core Solo or Duo processors, a CompactFlash socket, up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, mini PCI expansion, and room for a 2.5-inch hard disk drive.


Lanner Electronics FW-7872 -- Dec. 22, 2008 -- Lanner Electronics has announced a space-saving, "half-rack" network appliance that runs Windows XP Embedded on a Core2Duo or Celeron M chip. Targeting network security and acceleration applications, the FW-7872 has five Ethernet ports, a serial port, two internal SATA ports, and two external SATA connectors.


LaCie Ethernet Disk -- Dec. 19, 2008 -- LaCie's Windows XP Embedded NAS (network attached storage) device backs up Windows, Mac, Linux, and Unix workstations. The "Ethernet Disk" supports 100 users, offers 2TB, 4TB, or 6TB of storage, and works with both Microsoft's Active Directory and Apple's Time Machine.


Puritron PT120PF, PT-150PF, PT-170PF -- Dec. 15, 2008 -- Taiwanese vendor offers three panel PCs with 1GHz Intel Celeron ULV processors and water-resistant, stainless steel front panels. Targeting POS (point of sales/service) applications, the PT-120PF, PT-150PF, and PT-170PF offer touchscreen displays, fanless operation, plus cashdrawer and dual Ethernet ports.


DMP eBox-3300 -- Dec. 12, 2008 -- DMP Electronics's compact computer is based on the company's own 32-bit, x86-compatible SoC (system on chip), the Vortex86DX. The fanless device uses under 10 watts, runs Windows XP at 1GHz, has bootable microSD and CompactFlash slots, and sells for around $150.


Avnet Convenience Kit -- Dec. 12, 2008 -- This hardware/software bundle from Avnet Electronics targets development of Windows XP Embedded applications. The "Intel Desktop Board D945GCLF2-based Convenience Kit" includes a dual-core Atom 330 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 4GB SSD (solid state disk), a preinstalled XPe image, and development tools.


DSM NanoServer E8 -- Dec. 10, 2008 -- The German company DSM Computer offers this fanless computer targeting "24 x 7" operation in harsh environmental conditions. The NanoServer E8 includes an AMD Geode LX800 processor, a CompactFlash Type II slot, Mini PCI slot, and an optional "robust, protected" hard disk drive.


Via Artigo A2000 -- Dec. 9, 2008 -- Via's "mini-server kit" targets home media storage. Touted as being the same height as a CD, the Windows-compatible Artigo A2000 includes two 3.5-inch bays for hard drives, a bootable CompactFlash slot, gigabit Ethernet, three USB ports, and a wireless LAN option.


Aaeon Fox-80, Fox-120, Fox-150 -- Dec. 9, 2008 -- Aaeon's three "waterproof" panel PCs run Windows XP Embedded. Equipped with touchscreen displays and Intel Celeron processors, the Fox-80, Fox-120, and Fox-150 feature ports and surfaces that all meet the IP65 standard for water resistance.


Asus Eee Box -- Dec. 3, 2008 -- Asus offers enhanced versions of its Eee Box "nettop" computer targeting home theater applications. The B204 and B206 include discrete graphics circuitry from ATI, HDMI outputs, remote controls, and hard disk storage that's been doubled to 160GB.


Kontron Micro Client II -- Dec. 2, 2008 -- Kontron's Micro Client II devices feature touchscreen displays from 7 to 15 inches, CompactFlash storage, and processors ranging from a 500MHz AMD Geode LX800 to a 1GHz Intel Celeron M.


Parvus DuraCor 810-Duo -- Nov. 21, 2008 -- The Parvus DuraCor 810-Duo runs Windows on a 1.5GHz Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and targets "high reliability" military and homeland defense applications.


Via VIPRO VP7710 -- Nov. 18, 2008 -- Via's panel PC runs Windows XP Embedded or CE and resists both liquids and dust. The VIPRO VP7710 includes Via's Eden or C7 processors, a 10.4-inch touchscreen display, gigabit Ethernet, three serial ports, and two USB 2.0 ports.


Martrox Iris GT -- Nov. 13, 2008 -- Matrox Imaging's Windows CE "smart camera" uses a 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor. The Iris GT features 256MB of RAM, 1GB of flash storage, a gigabit Ethernet port, USB 2.0 and RS232 serial ports, plus an opto-coupled trigger input and strobe output.


Advantech ARK-3399 -- Nov. 11, 2008 -- Advantech's fanless, aluminum-cased ARK-3399 targets self-service kiosks, digital signage, and industrial control applications. It employs Core 2 Duo, Core Duo, or Celeron M processors, includes hard disk or CompactFlash storage, accepts 2GB of RAM, and runs Windows XP Embedded or CE.


Samsung 400TSn, 460TSn, 700TSn, and 820TSn -- Nov. 11, 2008 -- Samsung offers four touchscreen displays that measure up to 82 inches, while targeting interactive signage applications. The "TSn" series displays have built-in Windows XP Embedded (XPe) computers based on AMD Athlon64 X2 processors, 1GB of RAM, and 4GBs of flash.


Avalue FPC-22W02 -- Nov. 6, 2008 -- Avalue Technology offers this touchscreen panel PC with a 22-inch display. The FPC-22W02 offers 1680 x 1050 resolution, supports Intel Core Solo, Core Duo, or Core 2 Duo CPUs, includes a PCI slot, and has two gigabit Ethernet ports.


Axiomtek eBOX830-831-FL -- Nov. 5, 2008 -- Axiomtek's fanless, aluminum-cased embedded computer targets industrial automation, DVR (digital video recorder), and digital signage applications. The eBOX830-831-FL runs Windows CE or Windows XP Embedded, offering dual gigabit Ethernet ports, six USB ports, four COM ports, and two IEEE 1394a ports.


AR Infotek Pipal 2025 -- Nov. 5, 2008 -- Taiwanese embedded PC and appliance specialist AR Infotek is shipping a fanless, x86-compatible system with top-mounted I/O connectors and external PC/104 expansion. The Pipal 2025 lets users add PC/104 modules without changing the system chassis.


Win Enterprises PL-10540 and PL-10550 -- Oct. 27, 2008 -- Win Enterprises offers announced its EP80579-based PL-10540 and PL-10550 desktop networking platforms, based on the Intel EP80579 system-on-chip (SoC) previously code-named "Tolapai." Both are designed for SOHO/SMB network management and network security applications.


Aewin SEM-7705 -- Oct. 23, 2008 -- Aewin's "embedded box computer" targets kiosk, vehicle, and industrial applications. The SEM-7705 supports fanless operation with Intel Core 2 Duo, Core Duo, or Celeron processors, has four serial ports and dual gigabit Ethernet ports, and can employ CompactFlash or hard disk storage.


Ampro RuffSystem 840 -- Oct. 21, 2008 -- Ampro's fanless computer targets data acquisition, vehicular, and military applications. The "RuffSystem 840" includes a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo processor, two gigabit Ethernet ports, four USB 2.0 ports, four serial ports, VGA output, and 2.5-inch HDD (hard disk drive) or CompactFlash storage.


HP rp3000 -- Oct. 16, 2008 -- HP built Intel's "nettop" technology into this new POS (point of sale) system for small- and medium-sized businesses. The "rp3000" includes a 1.6GHz Atom 230 processor, up to 2GB of RAM and 250GB of hard disk storage, and eight USB ports.


DT Research WebDT Event Trigger Digital Signage System -- Oct. 15, 2008 -- DT Research's WebDT Event Trigger Digital Signage System uses a Windows XP appliance (left) with a 1.5GHz processor, eight "trigger ports," four USB ports, and fanless operation.


Asus Eee Top -- Oct. 14, 2008 -- Asus' all-in-one "nettop" computer includes an integrated touchscreen. The "Eee Top" has a 15-inch display, 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and a gigabit Ethernet port.


NEC TwinPOS 5500 and 3500 -- Oct. 8, 2008 -- NEC's POS (point-of-sales/service) computers use Microsoft's WEPOS (Windows Embedded for Point of Service) operating system. The TwinPOS 5500 and 3500 feature integrated flat panel touchscreens, optional MSRs (magnetic stripe readers) and customer-facing displays, and resist dust and liquids.



Motorola VC6096 -- Oct. 6, 2008 -- Motorola's Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional computer is designed for cab mounting in trucks. The VC6096 includes a VGA-resolution touchscreen display, 65-key QWERTY keyboard, GPS, HSDPA (high speed downlink packet access) cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth, and integrated telematics support.


Portwell CATO-3000 -- Sep. 25, 2008 -- Portwell's CATO-3000 network appliance uses Intel's EP80579 SoC (system on chip) and targets security and IP telephony applications. CasaWorks Cielo Home Management Gateway -- Apr. 6, 2004 -- This Celeron based device running Windows CE serves as the hub of a comprehensive home management system that provides the functions of traditional high-end home control and automation systems, but in an easy-to-use and affordable manner, according to CasaWorks. The system enables homeowners to control their household electronics, including lighting, climate, security, and entertainment systems, using a PDA, PC Web browser, Web Pad, or wireless programmable remote control.


Microvision Nomad Expert Technician System -- Feb. 2, 2004 -- the system consists of two modules: a head-worn display unit, and a belt-worn control unit. The belt-mounted control module is a WiFi-enabled Windows CE .NET based "thin client" computer, powered by a 400MHz Intel XScale processor, which can access data on external computers or remote servers and can display content from automakers' web-based services via an included Internet Explorer web browser.


Delphi FleetOutlook "Truck PC" -- Jan. 13, 2004 -- FleetOutlook is an in-dash onboard computer that implements a comprehensive fleet management and security solution combined with full radio functionality. The device runs Windows CE on a Hitachi SH3 processor and integrates premium audio, trip computer, GPS, and vehicle monitoring within a standard-sized, single-DIN radio package.


Salton Home Appliance Network -- Jan. 10, 2004 -- This group of networked home appliances are intended to "make life simpler, more convenient, and fun". Salton's "Beyond Connected Home" product line features a coffeemaker, breadmaker, and microwave controlled via Wi-Fi (802.11b) wireless and AC powerline networking from two "command centers" running Microsoft's Windows CE .NET embedded operating system. The Icebox,in its "flip-screen" version, is one of the command centers communicating via an AC powerline network. It's also a kitchen entertainment center offering one-touch access to Cable TV, broadband Internet, DVDs, audio CDs, and security video monitoring.


Bally Gaming's EVO series -- Jun. 29, 2003 -- Bally Gaming's Evolution Series (EVO) is powered by a Microsoft Windows NT Embedded operating system on an Intel Pentium. The EVO VIDEO features a powerfully upgraded sound system with superior graphics presentation on an improved monitor. With development direction provided by major regulatory agencies throughout the country, EVO employs CD-ROM technology that can be upgraded to DVD to display PC-quality game content.


Neonode N1 -- Apr. 30, 2003 -- Is the Neonode N1 a mobile phone? A personal organizer? A digital camera? A multimedia jukebox? A gaming machine? A remote control? The correct answer appears to be "all of the above," rolled together into a single compact mobile device with "limitless" features. The do-anything gadget is based on a 110MHz ARM720T system-on-chip processor equipped with 16MB SDRAM, running an embedded Windows CE .NET operating system.


Philips DesXcape 150DM smart display -- Feb. 3, 2003 -- Philips has introduced its spin on Microsoft's smart display. Dubbed the DesXcape 150DM, Philips' detachable monitor and matching wireless keyboard which the smart display to act as a primary mobile monitor with built-in touch panel and stereo speakers. Based on Microsoft Windows CE for Smart Displays running on a Intel 400MHz XScale. The device weighs 5.3 lbs. with battery and integrated 802.11b.


Symbol MK2000 microkiosk -- Jan. 15, 2003 -- The system, which has a form factor that Symbol says makes it a "microkiosk," supports full motion video advertising and interactive applications for retailers. It's intended to be placed (or wall-mounted) in stores to provide another visual purchasing cue through which consumers can check product availability, styling and pricing. It is based on Microsoft Windows CE.NET 4.1 and runs on an Intel 400MHz XScale.


ViewSonic airpanel 150 -- Nov. 18, 2002 -- this is the first 'Mira-enabled' (Windows CE .NET) wireless monitor. It is based on Microsoft's smart-display reference platform using an Intel XScale processor. The airpanel is 15 in.and weighs 2.5 lbs. The monitor provides broader networking support for LANs, WANs and PANs. Expansion is provided via PCMCIA and CompactFlash Cards. Real-time IP (VoIP and Instant Messaging) communications is supported. A 10 in. screen is also available.


Trimble 5800 GPS RTK Rover -- Aug. 27, 2002 -- a Windows CE-powered GPS device for surveyors. The cable-free system integrates GPS receiver, GPS antenna, UHF radio, and Bluetooth technology in a low power device. The 5800 receiver is lightweight, weighing just over 2.5 lbs. It connects to field base stations and networks, improving work flow.


Exertris workout bike -- Jun. 29, 2002 -- An interactive gaming workout cycle that uses Microsoft Windows XP Embedded for rich interactive multimedia features, built-in networking, and broadband connectivity running on an AMD Duron CPU. The system offers a workout and also entertainment. The Exertris offers personal logons to enable users to monitor their health and excercise regimen progress, and networking and broadband connectivity to enable users to compete with others in their facility and in other facilities.


Bernina artista 200E -- Jun. 29, 2002 -- Bernina's sewing machine and embroidery system is based on Microsoft Windows CE. Bernina has been known as the sewing industry's innovatordeveloping and introducing new products, features and technology for sewers, quilters and embroiderers. The artista 200 offers software patterns and designs for easy sewing.


Hitachi Wearable Internet Appliance (WIA) -- Jun. 29, 2002 -- the 10.9-ounce wearable computer runs Microsoft's Windows CE 3.0 on a Hitachi SH-4 RISC processor. The device iprovides users with instant on/off Internet access and a SVGA (800 x 600) head mount display that provides a desktop-like viewing experience. The new hands-free PC can be worn while on public transportation, in the office, shopping or relaxing at home.


Antelope Technologies 'Mobile Computer Core' -- May. 23, 2002 -- the 'Meta Pad' is a research prototype portable computing device that transforms in seconds into a personal digital assistant (PDA), desktop, laptop, tablet, or wearable computer without having to be rebooted. The Antelope device is based on the Transmeta Crusoe 5800 processor and supports Windows XP and 2000.
